3. Payment Authorisation & Order Confirmation

Once your payment is successfully authorised:

  1. You will receive an email order confirmation
  2. Your order will move into processing (2–3 business days)
  3. You will later receive your tracking number

If the payment fails or is flagged by Stripe’s security systems, the order may be cancelled or paused until verification is completed.


4. Fraud Prevention & Verification

For security reasons, Stripe may require additional verification in cases of:

  • Suspicious activity
  • High-value orders
  • Mismatched billing and shipping addresses
  • Unusual transaction behaviour

In rare cases, we may contact you directly for confirmation.

If verification is not completed, your order may be cancelled and refunded.


5. Payment Errors or Declines

If your payment is declined:

  • Verify if your card allows international transactions
  • Ensure you have sufficient funds
  • Contact your bank to approve the payment

You may attempt payment again using any other available method.


6. Taxes, VAT & Currency

All product prices already include UK VAT where applicable.

During checkout:

  • Final price is shown in GBP (£)
  • No hidden charges will be added
  • You will not pay additional import taxes (covered by Mavro)

7. Chargebacks & Disputes

If you believe there is an error with your payment:

Please contact us first at support@mavro.uk.
We will assist immediately and resolve the issue as fast as possible.

Filing a chargeback without contacting us may delay resolution, as Stripe will require additional documentation.


8. Refunds to Original Payment Method

Approved refunds are issued back to the same payment method used at checkout, as required by Stripe and UK law.

Refund timeframes:

  • 3–7 business days for most banks
  • Some banks may take slightly longer depending on processing rules
